Life without the Smartphone....

So, I have had my Blackberry smartphone for about 10 months now, and i have heard from other people, some being my friends of course that they had to take their phones in for a software upgrade.

I’ve always known that this day will come to me, but have been prolonging the situation. As the saying goes, ‘you can run, but can’t hide’ and this is so true, because I’m the lucky one who has had to take my phone in for repairs today.

In the beginning, when trying to get over this idea of not having my Blackberry for about 10 to 15 days (so they say), I couldn’t because my Blackberry is so much to me. I use it for everything, and am always on my phone.

Alas, I got over that fact because my phone was really in a bad state, as it always was flat after 30mins of it being charged, which is no way to live.

It will suck not having to use social networks at my convenience, and also bbm, but I will live. The only thing that I won’t get used to is buying airtime and having to text.
